The Nigeria Minister for Youths and Sports Sunday Dare has fired another barb at the coach of the senior national team of Nigeria Gernot Rohr.

Dare visited the Super Eagles team in Abuja where they are currently in camp ahead of the friendly game against Mexico on the 3rd of July in the United States of America.

After having a talk with the team made up of players picked from teams in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL). Dare voiced what he termed as unfair the way Rohr is treating players playing in the NPFL.

He charged the NFF to call the coach to order as he talks too much before asking him to shut up and focus on the task at hand which he sees as having a team of local and foreign based players in the Super Eagles.

Rohr’s attitude towards home-based players is unacceptable, it’s negative to our football development & I call on the NFF to call him (Rohr) to order. Rohr needs to SHUT UP & do the work of his contract, he talks too much.”
