Fashion stylist and sister to Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, Burna Boy, Ronami Ogulu, has expressed her delight and pride at his attire for the Met Gala in 2023.
The yearly event was held on Monday, May 1, 2023, in the Metropolitan Museum, and several well-known people from over the world were there.
The theme for this year paid homage to the late fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld.
Taking to her Instagram page, Ronami posted images of Burna Boy sporting a blue Burberry suit that she and her favorite designer, Daniel Lee, collaborated on.
She continued to brag about getting her brother to the event, calling it one of her greatest accomplishments.
She wrote;
“Successfully convincing @burnaboygram to attend the Met is probably my biggest achievement. Thanks for having us @burberry, look co-designed with my fave Daniel Lee.”
Fans and fashion experts alike have complimented Burna Boy’s presentation at the Met Gala, with many praising his daring and fashionable choice of clothing.
Ronami’s involvement in his outfit’s design has also been applauded, as she continues to make a name for herself as a rising fashion stylist.
