Sparta Rotterdam goalkeeper Maduka Okoye has been picked as the fourth best goalkeeper in the Dutch League as the season draws to a close.
Okoye rose the role of first choice at Sparta after one month at the club but since then he has kept his spot and even played a huge role in their quest to beat the drop.
The win last weekend takes them to 40 points which guarantees another season in the Eredivisie but it could be without Okoye as he has been linked with a move to Dutch giants Ajax.
In a rating of goalkeepers this season in the Dutch League, the 21 year old was picked as second in the best young goalkeeper category while in the league he is ranked 4th across all age grades.
23 years old Feyenoord goalkeeper Justin Bijlow topped Okoye in the young goalkeepers category and he is also rated as the best goalkeeper in the division ahead of Remko Pasveer of Vitesse and Maarten Stekelenburg of Ajax respectively with Okoye in 4th position.
In what is his first taste of professional football in a top flight league, Okoye has eight clean sheets in 25 games where he also conceded 34 goals.
