Super Eagles Hopeful Tai Sodje Fires Man City U18 To League Title With 19 Goals In 22 Games

17 years old Manchester City U18 forward Tai Sodje celebrated with the rest of his teammates as they clinched the 2020/2021 U18 Premier League North Division title.

Carlos Borges scored the all important goal in yesterday’s game against Burnley handing them a 1-0 win which help them leapfrog Manchester United to win the title by just a point.

They will now play the winner of the South Division which will be either Crystal Palace or Fulham for the national title. Both teams are battling it out for who will finish top in the South Division.

The star of the title triumph to many is Sodje who scored 19 goals in just 22 games this season. His last goal came against Leeds United on the 20th of March.

Despite going seven games without a goal, a drought which saw him miss two games he still finished as the top scorer of the club and second highest goal scorer in the league.
