Super Eagles To Take Part In 3-Team Tournament Against Two African Teams In UAE Ahead Of AFCON

The senior national team of Nigeria will take part in a three team tournament in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as part of preparation for next year’s Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire, OwnGoalNigeria.comreports.

Super Eagles will hold a training camp in the UAE with head coach Jose Peseiro expected to run the rule on players he will include in his final list of players for the tournament.

A target of getting to at least the final has been set for the Portuguese gaffer of the team as it will be the condition for his contract which will expire at the end of the tournament to be extended.

Ahead of the tournament, the Super Eagles will take part in a three team tournament at their camp in the UAE. They will take on Dr Congo and Burkina Faso in the three team tournament.

This much was made known by the head of the Nigeria Football Federation communication Demola Olajire, who was the one who confirmed their camp site for the tournament in the UAE.
