Super Falcons bounce back against Botswana – Sporting Life

Nigeria Super Falcons bounced back on Thursday after the initial set back in the ongoing Women’s Africa Cup of Nations event in Morocco with a 2-0 win over Botswana.

All thanks to goals from Onumonu in the 21st minute and Ucheibe in the 48 minute respectively.

The victory however placed Nigeria in the second spot behind the group leader, South Africa who had an easy ride over Burundi with a 3-0 win.
Nigeria now needs to win their last group duel against Burundi to qualify for the quarter-finals of the championship.
