Coach of the Squirrels of Benin Republic says the celebrations of the Super Eagles after their 1-0 win over his team was disrespectful as they have almost nothing to play for in the game.

Nigeria already secured passage to the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations before the start of the game but still went ahead to prove their superiority with a late winner scored by Paul Onuachu.

Onuachu pounced on a loose ball to hand Nigeria the win with virtually the last kick of the game in the final minutes of time added on to end an eight years unbeaten run of the Squirrels.

In his post match interview, the coach said the Super Eagles celebrated wildly like the winner has any impact on their spot in next year Africa Cup of Nations.

“ I understand emotions can get the best of you but showing a bit of class means you don’t celebrate so much a meaningless goal like you have won the World Cup”,Michael Dussuyer said.
