Rapper Cardi B has reportedly turned down an invitation to perform at the Super Bowl LIII halftime show. Page Six reports that the Bodak Yellow crooner will only perform if they’roll out the red carpet’ for her.

Cardi has also demanded a fee of up to $1 million, plus a solo spot in the epic halftime show in Atlanta on February 5, according to the publication.
A source close to the negotiations told them: ‘Cardi B is standing tough and holding out. She doesn’t want to do it unless they roll out the red carpet for her.’

Most artistes that have performed at the halftime show are not paid, but are given a ‘gift in kind’ by the NFL to cover expenses such as production, transport and wardrobe.
