Former England international John Fashanu says Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori might never get to play for England again.

Tomori snubbed the chance to represent Nigeria in favour of England but since his debut on the 17th of November 2019 against Kosovo. He hasn’t gotten another chance to represent the Three Lions.

Also his club career hasn’t been the best as well as he has struggled for game time falling down the pecking order to fourth choice at Chelsea following the arrival of Thiago Silva.

Speaking on the 22 year old, Fashanu said it’s a move that could see him lose out on the experience of playing international football because he might never play for England again.

“ When he played for England he was on the rise at Chelsea but he has since dropped down the ladder. It could cost him his international career because England have others ahead of him. He might never play for England again”.
