A disturbing video of a taxi driver being peppered-sprayed by security operatives at the Lekki toll gate during the car procession in memory of the 2020 EndSARS protest has sparked outrage.
In the video serving rounds online the driver was pepper-strayed by security operatives who attempted to force him into a Black Maria at the Lekki Tollgate.
The driver had insisted he wasn’t entering the black Maria since he didn’t commit any crime and was just going about his work. While he resisted one of the officers brought out a pepper spray and sprayed it directly in his eye.
Music executive, Don Jazzy shared the disturbing video on his Instagram page and noted that authorities might come out tomorrow to debunk claims that the incident happened.
The video also got the attention of other celebrities like Timini Egbuson, Mr Macaroni, Zoro, OAP Dotun and many others.
