Everton manager Sean Dyche has poured cold water on reports Alex Iwobi will be leaving the Toffees this summer.

Iwobi has been strongly linked with a move to Fulham with just less than one day to the end of the summer transfer window.

When questioned about the ongoing speculation surrounding the Nigeria international’s future, Dyche provided a concise response to the Liverpool Echo stating, “It’s noise at the moment.”

Iwobi has just one -year remaining on his contract at Goodison Park, and talks over an extension have slowed down.

The 27-year-old is a key player for the Merseysiders, and their fans will be sad to see him leave.

The versatile midfielder was named Everton’s Player of the Season last term
