Fresh from the signing of Nigeria U20 winger Jude Sunday, Slovakian side AS Trencin have added two Nigerians to their squad for the season, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.

The signing of the duo of Jesse Akila and Hilary Gong was completed last week with Hong returning to the club, where he started his career abroad and sealed a big career move to Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem.

He left the Dutch side after struggling to fully recover from the Injury that kept him out for 18 months. His next port of call was Norway, where he joined Haugesund . A year later he also left Norway for Armenian side Ararat-Armenia.

24 year old Gong is back at the club with fellow GBS Academy of Jos forward Akila. Gong made his debut over the weekend in a 2-1 win over Trnava Spartak Trnava. At the moment the club has four Nigerians on their book and we gathered that they will be joined by three other players from the academy that is famed for producing top talents with Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa leading the way.
