Marcus Abraham made his tenth league appearance for the B team of Portuguese giants FC Porto as they run out 3-0 winners over Academico Viseu in the Liga Sabseg, the second tier league in Portugal.

Comfortable as a right or left winger, the the 23 year old increased his goal count for the season to five with a brace in the 63rd and 71st minute of the game. He also has two assists so far this season.

He is pushing for another shot at the first team after making his debut last season. His rise made the team to extend his loan deal for another season with the option of making it permanent if he breaks into the first team on a permanent basis.

We gathered if he fails to make the step up, his representatives are already sounding out other clubs over a deal for him at the end of the season.

Capped twice by Nigeria in the back to back friendly games against Cameroon in June 2021. He hasn’t been given a look in since then and only a huge turnaround in his fortune during the course of the season will give him another chance.
