Media personality, Uti Nwachukwu, has taken to social media to express concern over the bottled waters sold in Nigeria.
The 39-year-old reality show star in a series of tweets shared on Twitter, disclosed that he suffered severe diarrhea after consuming the bottled water of ‘two big brands’.
According to him, his poop was smelling like chemical which made him realize that the diarrhea was caused by the water he consumed.
He has also threatened to disclose the names of the big brands if they don’t fix the problem.
He wrote,
“Dear bottled water companies,
Please WHAT HAVE U STARTED ADDING TO YOUR WATER ??!!
If I wanted to projectile poop 6-7 times a day, I’d have bought slimming tea!
What’s all this na?
It Can’t be only me!
And its the biggest brands o!2 of una now!FIX IT make we nor call una name!
I knew there was a problem when I was popping steady and it was smelling of chemical! Like sanitizer! Or Alum or something!
Stopped the first one.
Pile of poo ceased.
Second one no issues.
Bought small bottle and it was worse!
This one came with ab discomfort,acid reflux and yes watery with that same chemical/alum aroma.
So now, I can only vouch for 1 brand thats currently safe to consume. Smh.
Who checks the standards of these things we put in our bodies self?! Ehn?
Reputable brands like these causing harm!
Who even knows the effects on our organs? I’m tired!”
