As Nigerian youths remember protesters who were killed during the Lekki massacre in October 20, 2020, some young people have gathered at the Lekki tollgate to in honor of the victims.
Today makes it exactly one year the sad incident took place at the spot.
Officers of the Nigerian Army who were deployed to the scene on the said day, allegedly fired live ammunition at the protesters.
Though the Army denied using live bullets against the peaceful protesters, forensic reports by many independent bodies revealed that live ammunition were deployed and some protesters paid with their lives.
