A Nigerian lecturer and social media influencer, Dipo Awojide, has slammed the appointments of BBNaija stars into political offices.
The Bayelsa state governor, Duoye Diri, appointed BBNaija lockdown housemates, Nengi and Triky Tee and as his Senior Special Assistants on Tuesday, November 6.
Reacting to the appointment of BBNaija housemate as SSA, Dipo said such appointments show that Nigeria government has a long way to go in managing public funds.
He also slammed the Governor for not paying salaries but spends money like “a drug dealer”
”I like many of these BBNaija folks but I don’t know why many of you are celebrating state governments dishing out Senior Special Assistant appointments. SSA on what exactly? And why? Do these reality tv stars have the qualification and competence? We’ve got a long long way to go.
