A Nigerian woman has taken to social media to raise questions over the idea that men issue public service announcements after finding out through DNA that their child belongs to another man.
The lady simply known as Imabong, asked why men release press statements whereas women in similar situations maintain silence.
In a post on microblogging platform, Twitter, she called on men to be mature about such sensitive situations.
She explained that when a woman finds out that her husband had a child with another woman, she created no fuss about it, rather, she moves on.
Imabong wrote; ”Lol why do men feel the need for a press release when they find out a child isn’t theirs? Every day women find out their husbands have kids with another woman and keep it pushing, why can’t men be mature about these things.”
