Popular music superstar, Wizkid has been called out for reportedly failing to show up for his concert in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire’s country capital, over the weekend.

This comes hours after he was dragged online for snubbing his “Wizkid Accra live” concert despite having expectant fans.

Recall that angry fans took to social media to express their outrage, and some demanded that he should be arrested for standing them up.

However, Wizkid has since tendered an apology to his Ghanaian fans for his absence and promised a replacement show.

Barely 24 hours after the incident, the Afrobeats singer has again disappointed his Côte d’Ivoire fans after he snubbed another concert in Abidjan.

It is alleged that some of his crew members who arrived the country ahead of him, have been detained till he ‘does the needful’.

A Twitter user with handle @chisomnwoye1 wrote,

“Guess what wizkid staffs that arrived earlier are being held hostage here in Abidjan up until he pay for the mess he cause in Abidjan. it’s the disrespect for the fan. After he will write an apology”
