Super Falcons trio of Asisat Oshoala, Mitchell Alozie and Tosin Demehin are in a risky situation, being one caution away from suspension.

If any of them gets booked in the final group B match against Republic of Ireland, they will miss the round of 16 of the FIFA Women’s World Cup, if the team progresses.

Alozie and Demehin were booked for offences in the games against Australia and Canada respectively, while Oshoala was yellow carded for her shirt stripping celebration after scoring Nigeria’s third against the co-hosts.

Deborah Abiodun will be unavailable due to a two-match suspension after receiving a straight red card against Canada.

Falcons face the already eliminated Republic of Ireland for their final Group game at Lang Park on Monday.

The Falcons need at least a point against Republic of Ireland to book their place in the round of 16.
