Zahra Buhari-Indimi and her sisters-in-law, Adama, wears Abaya in solidarity with Kano university student harassed by male colleagues.

Kano State University of Science and Technology management has set aside May 27 to celebrate the Arabian outfit popularly known as ‘Abaya’ after a female student was harassed and mocked for wearing it.

Also, the President Buhari’s daughter Zahra Buhari and her sisters-in-law on Thursday, posted photos of themselves wearing the free flowing outfit in solidarity.“Say no to harassment. #kustwudiabayaday #kustwudistopbullyinginyouruniversity” Zahra, Adama, Hauwa, Meram Indimi captioned the photos.

Meanwhile, the 17 male students who harassed a lady for wearing abaya has been arrested by the school authority.
