Zaidu Sanusi Shows Why Rohr Is Keen On Him With Assist For Santa Clara In Shock Win Over Braga

Santa Clara left back, Zaidu Sanusi put up an impressive display in his team’s stunning 3-2 win over Sporting Braga in the Portuguese Premeira Liga.

Sanusi who is being monitored by Gernot Rohr was deployed in an advanced role in the game and bagged an assist in the encounter.

In the 20th minute, the Nigerian defender gave away a penalty that was converted by Fransergio. 14 minutes later, Zaidu Sanusi turned provider for Thiago Santana as Santa Clara levelled things up in what was an end-to-end affair.

Braga took the lead again in the second half through Trincao but it took just 10 minutes for the home side to respond again with a goal via Thiago Santana with Sanusi involved in the build-up

Both sides kept searching for a third goal, as Braga pressed via Trincao but Santa Clara had the last laugh with the winning strike off the boots of Carlos.

Zaidu Sanusi was taken off in the 84th minute but it was enough time for him to give away a penalty and restore glory via an assist. He had two shots on target and was caught offside twice.
