Nigerian hip hop recording artist, Yung6ix, born Onome Onokohwomo has averred that Grammy award winner, Burna Boy deserves to be honoured for winning the globally recognized award.
Recall that the self-acclaimed “African Giant” won his first Grammy award for his album, ‘Twice as Tall, at the 63rd edition on Sunday, March 14, 2021.
The popular singer beat other nominees including Malian band Tinariwen and U.S. band Antibalas, to emerge winner of the Best Global Music Album category.
Weeks after his big win, Yung6ix has made a case that the singer needs to be honoured in a memorable for bringing home the award.
He tweeted,
