The Federal High Court on Monday granted former National Security Adviser Sambo Dasuki bail to the sum of ₦200 million.
According to Channels, this is the sixth time Dasuki, who has been detained for 2 and a half years, will be granted bail.
The trial judge, Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu, also required 2 sureties, with both of them required to not be less than level 16 in the civil service, or where they are private citizens, must own landed properties in Asokoro, Maitama, Utako or Garki area of Abuja.
The sureties are also required to pay the sum of 100 million as bail guarantee into the court’s litigation account.
She described Dasuki’s continuous detainment as an aberration of the rule of law.
