Rihanna Made Ambassador In Her Country


Rihanna has recently been named the “ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary,” in her native country of Barbados.
In its report of the story, Billboard informs that the lengthy title involves “specific responsibility for promoting education, tourism and investment for the island.”
Barbadian Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley has nothing but praise forthe songstress and all her accomplishments. She celebrates the manner in which Rihanna continues to strive towards the betterment of the world, and how she represents her island nation.
She stated,
“Rihanna has a deep love for this country and this is reflected in her philanthropy, especially in the areas of health and education. She also shows her patriotism in the way she gives back to Barbados and continues to treasure the island as her home.”
This news comes in the wake of Rihanna’s success as an ambassador for the Global Partnership for Educatio n (GPE) — arole which allowed her to visit Malawi, and also travel to Senegal for the GPE’s finance conference.
