Ifu Ennada has taken to social media to clear the air after she was called ‘devilish’ over her AMVCA outfit.

The reality star made headlines after turning up at the award show on Saturday, May 14, in a black dress decorated with multiple skulls, and scary eye makeup.

Photos of the controversial dress quickly went viral on social media and some religious fanatics asserted that the dress is devilish, and Ifu should repent before it was too late.

Reacting to the influx of criticisms she received, Ifu took to her Instastory to issue a disclaimer that the dress is not devilish, but just an unconventional fit.

She also told her critics to kill the thoughts that she’s devilish because she’s a born-again Christian who studies the Bible every single day.

The 27-year-old star wrote,

“Nigerians are saying I’m devilish because of my AMVCA dress. Pls stop, its unconvential fashion.. Avant Garde… but nothing devilish about my dress.

I am Born Again, I have a whole Bible App I use to study the Word of God daily. Pls stop this narrative of me being devilish because of my AMVCA Look. I am a child of God.. it’s all Fashion”
